How to Make a Swarovski Crystal Tree Charm

Time for some Christmas spirit! This is a fun little design that makes an easy Christmas charm that you can use for earrings, necklaces, or bracelets.

You will need the following supplies:

1 – 4mm Gold Swarovski Bicone

1 – 4x4mm Crystal Clear Swarovski Cube

1 – 6x6mm Crystal AB Swarovski Lochrose Flower

1 – 8x8mm Crystal AB Swarovski Lochrose Flower

1 – 10x10mm Crystal AB Swarovski Lochrose Flower

1 – 21 gauge 3 inch Headpin in Silver or Gold Plate

You will also need a pair of flush cutters, a round nose plier and a small chain nose plier.

 ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

To start, collect all of your pieces together and then thread the beads onto the head pin in the following order: cube, large flower, medium flower, small flower, bicone.

Make a right angle bend about 1/16th inch from the top of the last crystal using the chain nose pliers.

Next, take the round nose pliers and wrap a small loop with the long end of the headpin, making sure the wire overlaps fully at the bottom of the loop.

Holding the loop in the flat nose pliers, continue to wrap the long end of the wire around, making a tidy wrap right above the bicone crystal.

Once your wrapping touches the top of the bicone, use the flush cutter to trim the remaining tail of wire, as close to the wrap as possible.

Now make sure that the cut end of your wire is tucked down with the chain nose pliers, to minimize snagging.

And there you go! A cute and sparkly Christmas tree ready to be used in any of your favorite designs.
