I wanted to share this great bracelet that one of my employees, Matt Fox, made this week. He just started making chainmaille this year and has made under 2 dozen pieces. I think he did an awesome job! I made the jump rings and then tumbled it for about an hour after he put it together – the rest was all him and 2 flat nose pliers! I enjoy intricate chainmaille weaves, but this is a simple weave, 2 into 1 ( as there are 2 jump rings connected by 1, and then repeated) and the simplicity keeps from distracting the eye away from the stars of this creation – the 12 gauge 6mm ID square copper jump rings. I think it is perfect!
