Featured Customer of the Week – Erin Stelmach of The Sleeping Bear Co.

This week we are featuring Erin Stelmach of The Sleeping Bear Co.! Erin makes beautiful engraved jewelry that is stylish and also supports animal shelters! Check out her story:

“I am a jewelry designer and animal lover. I incorporate my art background with my experience of over 17 years working in the jewelry industry with 10 + years working at a no-kill animal shelter. I find inspiration in what makes me happy and that is the pets in my life. My beloved dog Bear, a senior pug who came in to my life about 15 years ago is the major influence of my work, even to this day. Bear slept at my desk for many years as I designed and worked on pieces. When I needed to come up with a name for my company, it was clear it should be named after Bear and his favorite pastime. That is how The Sleeping Bear Company came about.

  1. Love your jewelry & your puggie! The dog bone ring is super cool! I have a 10 year old fur baby who is spoiled and acts like a toddler. He gets jealous if I work on my jewelry too long. Perhaps I’ve seen you at the Pugfest in Spencer, MA we go every year!
