When making jewelry that is silver toned, it can sometimes be difficult to find pieces that are all the same “tone” of silver. The biggest confusion in this is between stainless steel and sterling silver, or a gray silver metal and a white silver metal. Some people refer to white silver as “shiny” silver, but that is misleading, as the shine and the color are not related. You can have very shiny stainless steel, and it will still not match silver filled or another white silver!
